I changed hosting companies, and now I can't log on in the spelling window.

When I attempt to log on, I get a bunch of raw html like this:

Code:

uid=[143] admin_id=[-1][2a39c4c7275759faf3a9b11825c860b3][<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>404 Not Found</title> </head><body> <h1>Not Found</h1> <p>The requested URL /var/subdomain/forums/html/spell-gw.php was not found on this server.</p> <hr /> <address>Apache/2.0.48 (Fedora) Server at www.updebate.org Port 80</address> </body></html> ]

I'm a little confused as to the path. First, it's there, but you can't get to it by that url, but using forums.updebate.org you can.

Is there a configuration I'm missing, or is my problem that my host wouldn't let you access the /fourms directory directly?

Well, you say you can reach it if you enter a certain URL, correct? What you need to do is edit the posting_body.tpl, search for spell-gw.php and make sure it is using the same URL. You might have to do this in 2 locations in that file.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply Nuttzy, but I tried that and it didn't help. Same error msg with the /var/subdomains... path. I saw 3 places in post_body.tpl that contained "spell-gw.php" and changed them all. No luck. :cry:

The url that would work is forums.updebate.org/spell-gw..php, but the script keeps trying /var/subdomains/forums/html/spell-gw.php.

Something that bothers me is why I can't use updebate.org/forums/
to get to my board. That could be part of the problem.

It needs to be a URL, not a path. I checked it out. You need to change it to: http://forums.updebate.org/spell-gw.php

Should be all good Wink
