If I click a link in the google ad-sense it loads in the current window. (Takes over the spell check window). I remember you mentioning that your not allowed to edit its code in another post but are you allowed to atleast make it target_"blank"? Or maybe another fix would be to set the pages default to open in a new window.
This will cause users to not want to click the ads no matter how appealing it is if they realize clicking them in the spell check window means they can spell check their post.
The other banners work fine and open in a new window.

Google doesn't want the ads to open in new windows. I really don't care what they want though But the problem is that AFAIK, no one has been able to get around this. I've come close (layering DIV's) but have not been able to get around the problem I do have a couple more ideas in mind though Involves increasingly trickery javascript though, so also increased chance of browser incompatibility.

You could have it do a check to see if the browser being used is compatible then use your tricky javascript depending on if the browser will let it work _________________

Oh trust me, if I get it working for IE (which sadly most people still use) then I'll have no problem turning it off for other browsers that aren't compatiable. That's the easy part. The hard part is trying to get it to work in the first place

Getting Google Ads to open in a new window might be too trickey and might get my account suspended with Google.
Question: what if I gave the option of maximizing the window when Google opens and then opening your spell check session in a new window underneath it? It should accomplish the same effect. Just need to see if I can code it
Any thoughts on this?

Sounds good to me
I don't think it would be too hard to accomplish... _________________ A_Jelly_Doughnut - CMSformE || Blog |

Sounds better then it loading in the same frame if its possible. I imagine it will be a pain to load. Maybe if enough people complain to google they will default it to a new window lol _________________ ~!~ |
