We did a little brain surgery and added some more memory to the SpellingCow server. To me anyways, the performance boost is immediately noticeable. SpellingCow has been rapidly growing in popularity and I was caught off guard when it began running out of memory and running quite a bit from hard drive swap space. So keeping everything in memory obviously has a dramatic effect on performance.
Enjoy!

Hehehe, actually until the memory arrived, I had to write a cronjob Perl script that would restart Apache if too much swap space was being used. Otherwise the system would reach a critical point of slowness where the box would just stop responding Pretty good for my first Perl script and it really saved my butt too
