We did a little brain surgery and added some more memory to the SpellingCow server. To me anyways, the performance boost is immediately noticeable. SpellingCow has been rapidly growing in popularity and I was caught off guard when it began running out of memory and running quite a bit from hard drive swap space. So keeping everything in memory obviously has a dramatic effect on performance. But I did notice this also when I first loaded the site. well.. maybe it's becuase I havn't been here in a while. I just thought it loaded fast.. Maybe this has nothing to do w ith the website... Pretty good. I've actually never looked into making one... nor do I probly want to. I just don't understand servers and how they work... and that stuff. lol.
