Shite
Just tested again and got the error when hitting return in the pop up
| Code: | DEBUG MODE
SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 3
UPDATE phpbb_spelling_words SET position = 6 , checked = 1, changed = 'estimation' WHERE word_id =
Line : 407
File : /usr/local/www/data-dist/www/public_html/spell-16/spell.php |
also in the pop up with the Debug info there is a link to Speel Cow Forums
that link is broke, may be completely seperate issue, maybe a proxy/mapping thing
The requested object or URL, /www/www/public_html/spell-16/index.php was not found on this server. |

Well, there has been some progress.
Now the popup window opens, allows you to go through and make all the corrections and then when you hit SUBMIT it kicks over to the DEBUG ERROR. |

it prob doesnt matter. What is interesting is that the forum checker works fine. Lol just for that I wont spell check this time.
Anyway, I am using it from inside my network, I guess I will try it from my server and report back.
Also, could being behind a compiled login do anything? it didnt before so it shouldnt now.
At least all you guys are even getting errors.
Everyone make sure you clicking the spellchecker instead of posting.
I disabled the autochecker long ago on phpbb, but when clicking on spellcheck, I see my post and the options button, but not any ads.
ya. |

THough we have had no comments from the staff here at Spelling Cow, it SEEMS to be working once again.
Have been able to make several posts today with NO errors.
Next question.
SHOULD PAID SUBSCRIBERS BE CONVERTING OVER TO V3.xx ????? |

Christopher
Nuttzy has answered this in another post (look under As You Type support)
he is going to work on removing the Ads for paid subscribers, right now I believe on a request basis
I am handling the transition on my PHPBB board by implementing both AYT and the old Button versions. AYT is defaulted to off. The button is always available - though I do not make the Button/Pop up version required on submit.
So far I am getting good feedback
I do miss the custom dictionary but that's coming in AYT fairly soon. All in all I don't see reason to delay a transition, perhaps you want wait till he removes ads, but its a heck of value add IMHO |

If you send Nuttzy a PM with your website URL and switch to the AYT version, you won't see ads for long. He'll get you all set up as soon as he gets your message.
