v1.2.0 - 8/10/2004
The update is completely server-side (at spellingcow.com) so no need to download or make any changes if you already have Spelling Cow installed! We're reaping the benefits of the centralized architecture 
Download for new installs - do NOT install if you already have Spelling Cow installed!
Version Hightlights:
- No new features added, strictly a performance boost
- Reduced number of HTTP requests and bandwidth use - breathe easier if you have dial-up
- After initial contact, most functions now handled with javascript instead of communication with Spelling Cow
- Greater use of .js and .css files for caching benefits
- A few minor improvements and bug fixes
- Fixed a serious problem involving the Alexa Toolbar
Coming in the next Major Release:
- Multilingual support for 36 dialects and languages (ie. US English, UK English, Canadian English, Spanish, French, etc.)
- Expanded checking options (ie. skip words in all caps, and many more options)
- "Undo" option

undo button sounds like a great feature. I love updates that are only server side... so much easier!

Hi nuttzy99!
Thank you for this mod, great work!
I installed it with easy mod and now my version is 1.0.2 so i donīt have to update to 1.2.0, right?
My website www.shadowdancer.de is German/English, so will it be possible to use dictionaries for both languages? |
