I am having the same problem as described in http://www.spellingcow.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=122.
This is my second time submitting this post. When the auto spell check kicked in and I clicked submit on this site, it did the same thing .
I saw the suggested fix in the above thread, but can't find the lines referenced.
Any help is greatly appreciated |

Ug... that sucks! I made a couple of changes here at spellingcow.com so see if it works now with the auto checker. Also, if you could tell me your OS+version and browser+version that would be helpful.
Thanks!

Here goes.....
I am on windows XP, IE 6.0.2800.
I finally found the code referred to and tried to make the switch, but to no avail. We'll see if it locks me up here! |

Same result.
When IE calls the windows (67 last time), it has AxltB2.dll/CHTML/bootstrap.html in the status bar.....
Is it a problem with my browser? |

| I think it is an issue with the Alexa toolbar. I will uninstall and try it again. |

Interesting. Let me know if that works. If not, then I have something else to try.

Nuttzy,
Works like a charm when I uninstalled the toolbar..... Just turning it off didn't have any effect.
Great mod btw.... loves it! |

No ads.... they do track users trail though. I don't mind, because the info and features are quite useful. I've uninstalled on all of my pc's but will install again when/if Nutzzy figures out what the hang up is.
Lot's of folks us the toolbar, so I'd prefer to fix it rather than just tell them they have to uninstall if they want to use the spellingcow! |

YESSSSSSSSSSSs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God for this guy! I can now detect the alexa toolbar and should be able to deal with it! Now that I know it is there, I gotta figure out what I'm going to do. I might just stop processing and tell the user to disable auto checking or to uninstall the bar. Obviously finding a way to make it work WITH the bar would be ideal
