| Is it possible to make it so "Always check Spelling before posting:" is off by default when a person signs up for your forum? |

Same question, really need to know.
The Spelling Cow server was giving all sorts of object not found errors this morning (Sept 5th) and of course this brings dialogs on my whole forum to a stop. Need a way for the Admin to step in and change the default when these rare events occur. |

In my case we are using 1.6.0
It is not clear to me why the link you gave would globally turn things on or off. It seems more targeted to the issue of moving to the new in-line style.
Can I just go in by hand and change the value of ayt_default (that is a not a pr user value is it?) to do this?
The in-line style seems a nice improvement, but I need to test it on a dummy board for a while before we use it live. In the meantime I need to find a global switch to use. What would happen IF we were using the in-line variant and the spell-cow side went down? |
