Hmm, worked fine when I tested it out (admittedly only tried one or two things since it's not my primary browser) - the autospellcheck quite happily closed when I hit the submit button |

Yup, I'm aware of the problem. It just isn't going to work yet. I don't have access to a Mac but I know someone that has one. I'm going on vacation and when I return, fixing this problem is VERY high on the list.
For now the person should disable the auto spell checking. I see from another post that you have PCP installed on your forum. We'll need to get that working so they can disable it. SpellingCow should work with Safari, so if it's not too much of a pain in the butt, then perhaps your user could use Safari when viewing your forum for now? Not a great solution, but it will work.

IE may have problems, but your OS should remain safe as most viruses are written for a particular OS (most of the time that OS is not OS X). What precisely is it that requires IE? If the software just 'prefers' IE, you could always set your user agent to IE in Safari and happily use Safari while the software thinks you are using IE.
If you are concerned about viruses, just get a virus scanner. _________________ cellphone reviews
