Odie,
That project is finished and working fine with Post's, Thread's, PM's and Email... At the moment we're just holding it back to continue testing..
Now!
With IPB (I don't really want to install it because I'd have to install another decoding engine to make it work)... Which brings me to this.
You should have access in the CP (From Memory) that looks similar to this..
Admin CP / Templates - (Modify / Delete) / Default Templates / Expand / New Reply Templates / Expand / newreply / Change Original
If so, would you copy and paste the CODE that is in "newreply" (it could also be called something else, but it should give a clear indication of what template it is) and paste it to a PM here for me... Please, as that will give me a better idea of what I need to do.
David. |

Hmmm, well I have to say I do not know the Invision Board like my phpBB forums [do need to it has just about everything you need standard].
So, I am having problems finding what you are looking for. I think "Post Screen" section is what you need. But there are many other sub-sections under this.
add_edit_box
edit_upload_field
EndForm
errors
get_box_alreadytrack
get_box_enableemo
get_box_enablesig
get_box_enabletrack
get_box_html
get_javascript
mod_options
nameField_reg
nameField_unreg
pm_postbox_buttons
poll_box
poll_end_form
poll_options
postbox_buttons
PostIcons
preview
smilie_table
table_structure
table_top
TopicSummary_body
TopicSummary_bottom
TopicSummary_top
topictitle_fields
Upload_field
uploadbox_entry
uploadbox_tableend
uploadbox_tabletop
Does this sound like the correct area? If so which one would you like to see? |

I have no idea which one either, but in there somewhere in the post template are the lines:
| Code: | <td class="formbuttonrow" colspan="2">
<input type="submit" name="submit" value="Add Reply" tabindex="7" class="button" accesskey="s" />
<input type="submit" name="preview" value="Preview Post" tabindex="8" class="button" /> |
And that's where Spelling cow would have to be added, and that's only for the 'reply to post'... and it's still not quite that easy as the 'mode' & 'source' still allude me ??
Mode should / could be 'input', source = ?????, button=submit
It may be too difficult for IPB, because they use a lot of CSS combined with html...
I also know that IPB have a couple of free spell-checkers, but not as good as this one.
So I might give this one a miss... sorry!
Why not post it on one of the IPB forums... Yes I know, then they will make it for 'registered users' ONLY! |

Well I am register IPB
I also have requested help both at the Offical forum and a common IBP Mod forum. I was basically told there is already a "good' spell checker MOD. Ya, right I used it on my phpBB forums until I switched to Spelling Cow. That other one [do not recall the name] sucks - IMO.
Thanks anyways,

I know it seems to be an exclusive club... as far as most of them are concerned..
If that's their attitude... I will install it and have a look, don't get your hopes too high and will get back to you on this. |

Hi Odie...
I installed it... here's a pic.. http://ozidownunder.com/downloads/ips.jpg
Spent a LOT of time reading and trying different things, But when IPS uses the CODE 'nowt' to do nothing... Christ knows how it's variables are named, and it's 'stalling' for the want of it.
Here's the problem, and you may want to ask some Guru at IPS forums if they could tell you what variables / syntax is required for this line:
mode=load&form=input&source=message&button=submit
We need to know the correct syntax that IPS uses for the above line....... and I think it's the source that's the main problem.....
Can you get the answers for the questions below ??
form: ?
source: ?
button: ? |
