With the use of a "favelet", SpellingCow can be used on any site you visit on the net! A favlet is simply a browser bookmark or favorite but while a normal bookmark contains a website URL, a favelet instead contains computer code that can interact with any webpage.
How to add the SpellingCow favelet depends on your browser:
You can either drag the blue SpellingCow link to IE's Links toolbar or you can right-click on the SpellingCow link, select "Add to favorites...", and then place it in the folder for Links. You might need look under View menu option and then Toolbars to see the Links Toolbar in IE.
You can either drag the blue SpellingCow link to Firefox's Bookmarks Toolbar or you can right-click on the SpellingCow link, select "Bookmark this link...", and then place it in the folder for Bookmarks Toolbar. You might need look under View menu option and then Toolbars to see the Bookmakrs Toolbar in Firefox.
I'm not sure of every browser that supports them, but I know that at least work in Mozzilla and Safari do. The instructions will be very similar for installing on any browsers, just a small change in terminology. Be sure to let me know if you have success with another browser!
Simply visit any page that contains a textarea. Press the favelet on your Links/Bookmarks Toolbar and SpellingCow will load a few seconds later. Simple ;-)
